We are excited to announce that we are now a division of GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a multidisciplinary firm with a broad range of services focused in the areas of geotechnical, environmental, water, ecological and construction management services.

“Joining a dynamic company like GZA gives us the opportunity and expertise to expand and diversify our services to all of our clients in New Jersey as well as our other markets. We see this as a tremendous win-win for both MTA clients and the GZA/MTA team”, says Gene Gallagher, a principal of MTA.

MTA Named Land Consultant of the YEAR
 
MTA is pleased to announce that we were named as Land Consultant of the year for 2015 for the Northeast Corridor Division of Pulte Group. MTA provides geotechnical and environmental engineering services ranging from due diligence evaluation, site feasibility studies, subsurface investigations, and construction observation services. MTA looks forward to continuing to work with Pulte Group in their upcoming projects!

MTA Begins our 40th YEAR!!
 
January of 2016 marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of MTA. We wish to thank our long standing clients, the engineers and architects that we have partnered with on so many projects and our dedicated employees for the continued success of the firm. Pictured above is our annual beach picnic at Island Beach State Park, one of our many company sponsored traditions.

The Shoppes at DePiero Farm
 
MTA completed geotechnical design services and is currently overseeing the earthwork activities for The Shoppes at DePiero Farm, a 225,000 square foot retail development being constructed by The S. Hekemian Group in Montvale, New Jersey. The site is the former DePiero Farm, one of the last major farms in northern Bergen County.The retail development will include a Wegmans Supermarket along with various retail stores. Site work requires cuts and fills in excess of 20 feet and the construction of numerous retaining walls.
